This month, I had the pleasure of sitting down with my good friend, and the queen of all things airway, Dr. Meghna Dassani.

Meghna does a whole lot from practicing to speaking, to writing, to putting on awesome coaching groups. She even launched a new conference this year. Her focus is on Sleep Disordered Breathing (Sleep Apnea) and she’s mastered her field in more ways than one. 

Her company strives to “Heal Families” and her journey tells a story that brings family and dentistry together in a unique and powerful way. 

“Bringing functional medicine into dentistry...that’s where healing happens.”

Meghna found a niche that could be (and needed to be) so much larger than it was at the time. Since she started, her goal has shifted and grown from helping a handful to helping as many as she can.

“Speaking is my way of helping [doctors] help their patients...I can help 100 patients, but if I can have 10 [doctors] on the same page, that’s exponential how many patients we’re helping.”

Meghna is incredibly knowledgeable and personable with strong family values and priorities - it’s easy to see how she has grown to be a pillar of success in the dental industry. 

While she loves to focus on training doctors 1-1, Meghna always encourages them to bring their teams to training, seminars, and conferences as they are an integral part of implementing the foundations she teaches. 

“Invest in your team...and allow them to make mistakes.”

When you invest in your team and have patience, their knowledge and confidence will bring much more growth than a simple paid ad ever would.
